All designers have heard it. "Design is everywhere." If it is everywhere, it must be in our DNA. This theme proposal for the American University 2024 Design Show takes this saying to the extreme.
What we deem as "good" or "bad" design is a reflection of how we have been socialized with design and art in this society. Therefore, our preferences are hardwired in our brains and being. This is what contributes to each of us having our creative fingerprints. This theme proposal strives to emphasize the truth that we are all in differently-designed realities.
